Royal Oak collectors will appreciate the subtle updates Audemars Piguet brought to the reference 15500ST. This 41 mm steel icon has a cleaner dial layout than its predecessors, note the absence of “Automatic” on the dial and a date window now positioned further out, giving better balance to the black Grande Tapisserie dial. Our example went back to Le Brassus for a full AP service in December 2023, meaning it’s running perfectly and its original sharp lines are well intact. The watch is under AP factory warranty till April 2026. All the trademark brushed surfaces and polished bevels of the case and bracelet still meet at crisp edges, preserving the Royal Oak’s signature mix of finishes.
